Description: This set is one of the smallest known sumo menko sets ever made and the smallest (R) or Rikishi series menko set. They measure a small 1" x .75" approximately. This set mirrors the Natsu 1938 basho and has many Juryo ranked rikishi as well. This set is extremely hard to find and especially in good condition because they came in sheets and kids would have to pop them out. Because of their size, the die-cut didn't go through the paper stock well in some instances and so you see a lot of these menko with torn edges.
Company: Unknown Availability: Extremely Rare
Card Size: 1" x .75" Card Material: Thin, paper stock
# of Cards in set: 25+ Packaging: Sheets
Front Design: This set features a drawing of the rikishi in their kesho-mawashi.
Back Design: Rikishi's shikona is in big bold kanji in the middle of the menko. Weight is along the bottom left and height is in the bottom right. The rikishi's rank is in the upper right and a war themed word is in the upper left. I'm not sure what is in the very top in the circle that is cut in half. A 4 digit Fighting Number is along the very bottom.
