Description: This is one of about a dozen or so "human" sets produced in the 1930's. This style of sets was common during this decade and fortunately leads to easy identification of the year each was produced. This set is the first of the "human" sets to have an actual photograph superimposed over a drawing of the rikishi's body. This set has Futabyama's first ever Yokozuna menko and a nice Juryo ranked menko of Hishuzan!
Company: Unknown Availability: Rare
Card Size: 1.25" x 2.5" Card Material: Thin, paper stock
# of Cards in set: 21+ Packaging: Sheets
Front Design: This set features a drawing of the rikishi in their kesho-mawashi.
Back Design: Rikishi's shikona is in big bold kanji in the middle of the menko. Weight is along the bottom left and height is in the bottom right. The rikishi's rank is in the upper right and a war themed word is in the upper left. I'm not sure what is in the very top in the circle that is cut in half. A 4,5 or 6 digit is along the very bottom.
